Johnson an injury doubt for County
The 35-year-old was forced off with a calf problem in the first half of the Magpies' home defeat to Chester on Saturday.
Manager Ian McParland revealed that Johnson was carrying the injury before the game.
He will wait and see how the player responds to treatment this week ahead of Saturday's trip to Rotherham and the visit of Grimsby on Bank Holiday
Monday.
"At the moment I don't know if he will be okay. He had a calf problem during the week and we thought he was going to be okay but he wasn't," said McParland. "We will have to wait and see."
