Jackson keen to stay with Addicks

The 27-year-old began his temporary stay at The Valley a week ago and, with the Magpies in financial trouble, there are doubts over whether he will return to the League Two club.[LNB]Former Tottenham trainee Jackson is enjoying being back in the capital, and he told the South London Press: "In an ideal world Charlton is a great club and it's a place where I would like to play my football.[LNB]"Being a London boy, it's a great club for me to be at and I was delighted when the chance to come here arose.[LNB]"I've been given an opportunity and it's up to me to impress the people here and to show that I can be an asset.[LNB]"But I don't know whether Charlton will be in a position to do anything at the end of the 28 days, so for now all I can do is concentrate on playing."[LNB][LNB]
