Notts County boss Paul Ince felt his side could have collected all three points from their goalless draw at Southampton.
Saints' title charge was slowed down against the in-form Magpies, but Ince thought his men created enough opportunities to emerge victorious.
Ince said: "If you look at the chances we created we could have won the game.
"We had to soak up a lot of pressure but our back four were magnificent and showed a lot of good attributes.
"We showed the qualities of a good side and had some good chances towards the end where we could have scored.
"They cleared one off the line in the last minute and it would have been fantastic to come away with three points."
