Hughes completely transformed the game with goals either side of the interval after Burton had fought back to level.[LNB]County took the lead in a frantic first half when midfielder Ricky Ravenhill crashed a right-foot volley through a crowded area from 20 yards out.[LNB]Burton quickly had chances to equalise and got the goal they deserved when Steve Kabba scored the third goal of his loan spell from Brentford with a smart finish after Aaron Webster had headed down a Richard Jackson free-kick.[LNB]But it was County who ended the half in the ascendancy when Hughes broke onto a Ravenhill header to coolly steer a low shot past Burton goalkeeper Artur Krysiak.[LNB]Hughes scored a repeat goal three minutes after the interval after being set up by Craig Westcarr and completed his treble from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute after being brought down by Krysiak.[LNB][LNB]
