County were the subject of a takeover by former Lincoln chairman Ray Trew on Thursday.[LNB]The ex-Imps supremo acquired the troubled club from Peter Trembling for £1.[LNB]The Magpies are said to have debts totalling over £1.5million and have now changed hands on three occasions this season.[LNB]Eriksson, who joined the club in a shock move last summer, has now decided he will be vacating his hands-on role at Meadow Lane, allowing him to explore other options.[LNB]The Swede will, however, remain part of the behind the scenes set-up at County after accepting the offer of a joint-life president post.[LNB]New chief executive Jim Rodwell said: "He (Eriksson) has agreed to stay on as joint life president which is a less hands-on role but it gives people an idea of how honourable Sven has been to deal with."[LNB]Midfielder Matt Hamshaw also praised the former England boss, saying: "He never missed a day's training even in the snow and rain.[LNB]"He has stuck through it all. He was a real gentleman and was always there to help players out."[LNB][LNB] Fulham 4/9, Draw 10/3, Notts Co. 6/1
