Duo plead guilty

Notts County and Peterborough have pleaded guilty to conduct charges from the Football Association following last month's mass melee at London Road. Both clubs were charged with failure to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour. Peterborough have requested a personal hearing in the hope of receiving a reduced punishment. Posh fitness coach Ben Mackenzie has denied a charge for violent conduct. Notts won a feisty encounter 3-2 but trouble flared at the end of the game when players and coaching staff from both sides confronted each other.
