A quick look at today's transfer action in League One.

By transfer deadline day standards, it has been a pretty quiet day, but there has still been plenty of eye-catching moves in League One throughout the day.

Sheffield United have strengthened their squad with the signing of Brighton striker Will Hoskins on loan until the end of the season, whilst Huddersfield have also snapped up Falkirk duo Murray Wallace and Kallum Higginbothaam. Leaving the Terriers is Donal McDermott, who moves to Bournemouth, joining Crawley Town striker Matt Tubbs. Replacing him is Karl Hawley, who has moved to Crawley on loan from Notts County.

At the bottom, Chesterfield have snapped up Peterborough striker Nicky Ajose on loan. Exeter City have lost Scott Golbourne to Barnsley, but have brought in Luke O'Brien from Bradford City and extended the loan of Reading's Jake Taylor. Elsewhere, MK Dons have replaced Adam Smith with Newcastle's James Tavernier, whilst Preston North End have terminated the loan of Clarke Carlisle and signed Cork City's Graham Cummins and Torquay defender Chris Robertson.
