The 21-year-old, who was offered a new deal at the start of the year with his current one due to expire in June, wants to concentrate solely on his football for the club's remaining seven matches.

He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I just want to carry on playing my football. When the season is at an end me and the gaffer will speak about a new contract then."

Weston was signed from Charlton by former boss Steve Thompson in the summer of 2007 after a loan spell at the club.
