County v Town clash should go ahead
Like many pitches across the country, the playing surface at Meadow Lane is under a blanket of snow and ice.[LNB]Just one League Two game survived the adverse weather conditions last weekend but Smith told the club's official website: "At the moment I'd say we are 70% confident that it will go ahead.[LNB]"Unfortunately the frost has hung about this week but we've looked at the forecast and temperatures are coming up on Thursday and Friday right through to Saturday so we are hopeful that the game will take place.[LNB]"If we need to put the frost covers on we will do so at the first opportunity but as things stand at the moment we are pretty confident the game will go ahead."[LNB][LNB]
