County cope well with conditions

The Magpies looked on course to take all three points when Delroy Facey took advantage of a mix-up between Imps' goalkeeper Rob Burch and Moses Swaibu to fire into an empty net after 64 minutes. But Lincoln hit back soon after when Sam Mullarkey's well-struck shot from 25 yards flew into the top corner of the net to leave McParland stunned. "I know Sam Mullarkey, he is an honest lad. He does not usually hit them with his left foot but it went straight into the top corner," he said. "I thought we mastered the windy conditions without much problem. We got the ball down, passed it to our wide men and created six or seven chances. "We deserved the lead and Jamie Forrester had a great little chance in the second half but he took an extra touch, maybe the wind put him off."
