The Swedish coach, who was in charge for just nine matches, quit on Tuesday in the latest saga at Meadow Lane after Munto Finance sold the club to executive chairman Peter Trembling, who completed a subsequent buy-out.[LNB]The Magpies will be keen to get back to footballing matters after a turbulent week and also put the disappointment of last Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Accrington behind them - a performance which was arguably their worst of the season.[LNB]Kevan, who has admitted he is not interested in the job on a full-time basis, must now decide whether to keep faith with the same starting XI - who were in good form prior to the loss - or reshuffle his options.[LNB]Defender John Thompson returned from suspension to take his place on the bench against Stanley and he will be pushing for inclusion.[LNB]Midfielder Johnnie Jackson (knee) is closing in on a return after a month on the sidelines, although the Boxing Day fixture against Grimsby is a realistic target rather than Monday's trip to Dean Court. Defender Stephen Hunt is also upping his recovery as he approaches a comeback.[LNB][LNB]
