County boss still keen to strengthen

An 84th-minute equaliser by substitute Richard Walker earned opponents Burton Albion a deserved 1-1 draw in Saturday's clash at Meadow Lane. The result ended County's 100% home record and it also meant that McParland's men had taken only one point from the last available six. McParland said: "People are disappointed we have only managed to draw at home but they have to realise that we're not going to win three or four nil every week. "Burton had a couple of chances but overall I thought we dominated the game. We needed a second goal after Karl Hawley gave us the lead, and when it didn't come bad defending let them in for the equaliser. "I've said to the players that I have problems picking the team these days because there are so many options, but I'm still looking to strengthen. "'Ideally, I would like to bring in two or three new players next week. I will ask the questions and we will see what happens."
