County boss confident duo will stay
The pair, along with winger Myles Weston, have been offered contracts to stay with the club as McParland looks for a marked improvement in fortunes next season.
Weston is yet to indicate where his future lies, but McParland is hopeful the other two will agree to stay.
"We've made fair offers to both players," McParland told the club's official website.
"They've both gone away now to think about the offers we've made, which is naturally what players do.
"I'm pretty confident both Stephen and Ben will sign but as we all know in football it's not done until it's done."
