Chairman urges McParland backing
Munto Finance Ltd are reportedly set to keep the manager and his coaching staff if they gain control at Meadow Lane.
And Armstrong-Holmes believes McParland should be retained.
He said: "He has done a remarkable job with limited resources since he took over. People will come to understand that fully in the future.
"The results haven't been great and we finished a lot lower in the table than we wanted, but he (McParland) has brought a professionalism back to the club."
