Big week for players - McParland
The Magpies host east midlands rivals Derby on Tuesday evening before Liverpool visit Meadow Lane on Friday night.
"It is a big week for the players I suppose. There is competition in almost all areas of the pitch," McParland told the club's
official website.
"Up the top we have a lot of lads battling it out for a start,
which I like. We have competition at the back and in midfield, but there are a few gaps we need to plug.
"I haven't made my mind up yet, but there are a few players who have staked a good claim. However, there are two games this week and we will take it from there."
