Allardyce expects more of County

Allardyce, currently in charge at Premier League side Blackburn, had a successful spell in charge at Meadow Lane when he guided the club to promotion from Division Three in 1997/98, winning promotion in mid-March by 19 points.[LNB]And the former Bolton and Newcastle boss, who left County in 1999 to join the Trotters, has gone on record in his belief the League Two side should be competing at a higher level.[LNB]"It is disappointing to see the club back down in League Two," he told the Magpies' official site.[LNB]"Notts County's rightful level is the Championship, to be honest."[LNB]"The support is quite reasonable and the catchment area is quite good.
