Wilson happy with friendly action

Rob Earnshaw scored the only goal at Don Valley Stadium, while at Nene Park a more experienced Forest outfit drew 1-1 against Rushden & Diamonds with debutant Radoslaw Majewski on target. Wilson captained a Forest XI including new signings Paul Anderson and Dele Adebola and, while the defender admits there are improvements to be made, he was pleased to come away with a win. He told the club's official website: "The first half was good, the second half not. "It was important to get 90 minutes rather than 45. The result was nice. As a player it's always nice to win. "The young lads got a good run out and it's going to give them confidence."
