Will Cotterill get a chance to do more than firefight?

Monday's Nottingham Post suggests that Steve Cotterill will remain as Reds boss when the club is taken over

Despite rumour and speculation linking Forest with moves for Neil Warnock and Darren Ferguson the newspaper suggests that new Kuwaiti owners the Al-Hasawi family will stick with the status quo and give Cotterill funds to rebuild his squad for a promotion push and not a relegation battle.

For the manager it will bring a different kind of pressure to bear after the gradual changing of his reputation from one of the brightest young bosses in the game to something of a fire-fighter having taken on both the Portsmouth and Nottingham Forest jobs at times of crisis for both clubs.

The Post also suggests that the takover could be completed as early as this week.
