Tyson takes the plaudits

Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood was full of praise for striker Nathan Tyson after his match-winning display in their shock 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic in the FA Cup third round.

Tyson was handed a starting spot on the left side of midfield and played a major role in both of his side's goals, netted by Junior Agogo and Grant Holt.

Calderwood said: "Sometimes you can't do anything with out-and-out pace and with that, Nathan brings a great enthusiasm and honesty to his game.

"Nathan has got the kind of attributes any manager in any division would take.

"It will come to him almost naturally and undoubtedly he will go on and play at a higher level."

Tyson missed nearly three months of the current campaign due to a knee injury, but has returned with a bang - netting seven goals to boost Forest's promotion push.
