Nottingham Forest could be boosted by the return of Nathan Tyson after the striker made a surprise comeback from injury for the club's reserves.
The seven-goal striker has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury, but managed 45 minutes in a reserve friendly against Burton Albion on Tuesday.
"It was an ideal opportunity to give Nathan 45 minutes and he came through it without any problems," manager Colin Calderwood told the club's official website.
"He was fine afterwards but we'll wait to see if there is any reaction before we decide on the next stage of his rehab."
Forest also welcomed back defender Julian Bennett in the same match.
He has been sidelined through injury since November but scored two of the goals in a 3-2 success.
