He should return to the squad but it remains to be seen whether he will go straight back into the starting line-up after his replacement Luke Chambers, who scored Forest's first goal against Scunthorpe, produced a solid performance on Wednesday night. Davies could continue to rotate his striking options with Robert Earnshaw and David McGoldrick pushing for places.
