Nottingham Forest chairman Nigel Doughty has played down talks of a new contract being awarded to manager Colin Calderwood.
In an interview with the Nottingham Evening Post, Doughty spoke enthusiastically about the man who has brought Forest back to the second tier of English football, but said a money-based reward was not on the cards.
"He has had five years in management and I keep telling him he has failed during three of those years because he has only got his teams into the play-offs," Doughty said.
"He has had two automatic promotions as well though and you can't say fairer than that. Colin has a rolling contract."
