New boys busy in Championship transfer market

Norwich City have made their fifth signing of the summer Wolves midfielder Andrew Surman has moved to Carrow Road for an undisclosed fee to join midfielders Andrew Crofts and David Fox and defenders Steven Smith and Elliott Ward as new arrivals in Norfolk. "He will give us balance and like everyone else he will come in and compete for a place," said boss Paul Lambert. "He certainly knows the Championship and I'm sure he'll do well for us." Norwich come to the City Ground in late August with the return fixture in mid-April. The Reds meanwhile have confirmed a pre-season trip to Portugal which will include a friendly against top-flight Portuguese side S.C. Olhanense on Saturday, 17 July.
