Nottingham Forest have sealed the signing of Brighton & Hove Albion defender Joel Lynch, subject to the 21-year-old passing a medical.
Forest have agreed to pay the Seagulls a £200,000 fee for the services of Lynch, who spent six months at the City Ground on loan last season.
Forest confirmed that they have agreed personal terms with the player who made 23 appearances for the club last term.
Meanwhile, Forest youngster Matt Thornhill is heading to the Withdean Stadium in return.
Thornhill will spend six months on loan at Brighton as he seeks first-team football.
