Loan deal for winger Martin

Highly-rated Manchester United winger Lee Martin has completed a one-month loan move to Nottingham Forest.

Martin, who has enjoyed previous loan spells at Royal Antwerp, Glasgow Rangers, Stoke City, Plymouth Argyle and Sheffield United, arrived in time to face Morecambe on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old has gone straight into the Forest squad for their Carling Cup first round match.

Martin, the fifth United player to be loaned out this summer, has played twice for the Red Devils' first team since his move from the Wimbledon academy.

The announcement comes soon after manager Colin Calderwood made known his intention to add to the Forest squad.
