Lengthy lay-off for Tyson

Nottingham Forest striker Nathan Tyson is facing four months on the sidelines after picking up a knee injury during Saturday's 1-0 win against Bradford City. A scan revealed the 24-year-old has torn the medial ligament in his left knee and he has been advised to wear a leg brace for the next eight weeks. Forest manager Colin Calderwood told the club's official website: "There's no operation required and there's no other damage to anything else in or around his knee, which is obviously good news, but it's still a major injury and a big blow to Nathan. "It's better than we feared because he doesn't require surgery and in the long-term his knee will be sound."
