Kelly banking on play-off experience

Nottingham Forest assistant boss David Kelly is hoping that manager Billy Davies' experience of the play-offs will stand them in good stead after they set up a showdown with Blackpool.Forest's 2-2 draw with Scunthorpe saw them finish third and set up the semi-final tie with Ian Holloway's men.Davies has led both Preston and Derby into the play-offs in recent years and Kelly, who worked with Davies at Preston, is keen to draw on those times to ensure a return to the Barclays Premier League."The experience helps towards how we can set up and we'll look how we have done in the past," Kelly said. "We'll go into those games as well prepared as we possibly can be but we haven't played Blackpool in the play-offs before so that bit is new."Davies and Kelly will be concerned about Forest's away form as they have taken just two points from the final 10 games on the road, and Kelly knows it will not be easy edging past Blackpool in the semi-finals.He added: "They've beaten us twice and they are a good team. It'll be a tough game but hopefully we'll have a bit of luck and get to Wembley."
