Keeper Turner joins Forest

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has swooped to sign Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner on loan until the end of the season. The 25-year-old has struggled to dislodge Tim Howard in the Toffees goal and has failed to make a first-team appearance this term. "It's no secret that we've been looking to bring a new goalkeeper in to provide competition," Davies told the club's official website. "Iain Turner fits the bill perfectly. He's a goalkeeper with a good pedigree and great potential and it's a situation that helps both ourselves and Everton."
