Nottingham Forest striker Grant Holt will play through the pain barrier after deciding to hold off on hernia surgery.
The 26-year-old frontman has been an ever-present for the League One club this season despite requiring an operation and will continue to play on for the time being.
"We're looking at the moment when the best time would be to get it done," manager Colin Calderwood told the club's official website.
"It's important that when we do get him in for the operation, he misses one or two games at the maximum.
"The problem has given him a lot of grief and made him look very laboured on occasions in games."
