Marlon Harewood's agent has rejected suggestions from Nottingham Forest that his client snubbed a loan move to the City Ground.
The out-of-favour Aston Villa striker was believed to be close to rejoining Forest on loan before manager Billy Davies claimed Harewood had pulled out of the deal over the weekend.
The striker is now set to join Championship rivals Wolves on loan, but agent Phil Sproson claims his client had never agreed to join Forest.
"Villa said no to Forest, so Marlon spoke to (manager) Martin O'Neill who has now decided to loan him out," he said.
"It was only then that Wolves expressed an interest."
