Grant calls a Holt for Forest
21 Aug 2006 - 09:00:44
Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood was pleased to see his side finally find the net from the penalty spot and maintain their 100 per cent record with a 2-1 win over Brighton.
Grant Holt netted his spot-kick just past the hour mark, with Forest having previously missed penalties in all three previous league games this season.
Calderwood said afterwards: "It was a pressurised situation, with us being one behind and having missed three previously. He was composed, but the team was afterwards.
"We were never going to have too many chances against them, because they were well organised. So it was important.
"The players showed real character, which is going to be important for the rest of the season."
