Forest win Lennon race

Nottingham Forest have won the race to sign free agent former Celtic midfielder Neil Lennon.
The 35-year-old left Parkhead after helping Celtic claim a league and cup double last season and has agreed a one-year contract with Forest.
Lennon, who spent four years at Leicester City before heading to Scotland, had reportedly been courted by a number of Championship clubs and Premier League-bound Sunderland, but broke off from a holiday to complete his move to the City Ground.
Earlier in the week, the former Northern Ireland international had turned down the opportunity to renew acquaintances with Paul Lambert and sign for Wycombe Wanderers where his former Celtic team-mate is the manager.
"Wycombe's offer put me in a real dilemma. I was so impressed by what they had to say that I'd almost made up my mind to join them," admitted Lennon.
"That was the only reason I said 'no' and it took a lot of soul-searching before I made my decision."
