Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood says he is mulling making an improved bid for Bristol Rovers striker Junior Agogo, having seen an earlier offer rejected.
Forest are keen to sign Agogo after seeing Nathan Tyson ruled out for several months by a serious knee injury, but Calderwood is not sure whether to maintain his interest in the Pirates frontman.
He told Sky Sports News: "We've made a bid, but at the minute we've had a negative response from Bristol Rovers.
"We'll just leave it at that, at the minute.
"With Nathan Tyson been injured and out for four months, it is a really good insurance policy to try and sign Agogo.
"But Jack Lester, Grant Holt, Neil Harris and Spencer Weir-Daley are our strikers at the moment."
