Forest swoop for striker

Promising Bromley striker Garath McCleary has signed for Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old former Slough Town player moves to the City Ground on a permanent basis after impressing during a recent trial.

McCleary moved to the Lillywhites 12 months ago but struggled with injuries during the second half of last season.

However, he has been in fine form this term, netting seven times in 17 appearances for the Blue Square South side.
