Forest suffer Davies blow

Nottingham Forest midfielder Arron Davies is unlikely to play again this month because of a hamstring injury.

The 23-year-old Wales international picked up the problem in the goalless draw with Crewe Alexandra and has been told it will be at least three weeks until he can be considered for first-team action again.

Forest manager Colin Calderwood confirmed to the club's official website: "Arron will be out for a minimum of three weeks with a hamstring strain - it's an injury that we need to be careful with."

However in better news for promotion-chasing Forest, Luke Chambers and Kris Commons will return from injury for the vital midweek clash with Southend United.
