Forest get fresh
Published : 17 Feb 2010 12:51:54

Billy Davies insists freshness will be the key to sustaining Nottingham Forest's promotion push - and the Reds boss has pledged to keep resting players.A rejuvenated Robert Earnshaw latched onto a knock-down from Paul Anderson to lash home the goal that earned Forest a 1-0 home win over Sheffield United after both players had been rested at the weekend."I know what I am doing, it is not my first season in football. It is all about preparing for games and getting the balance right," said Davies."After the 5-0 win over QPR, we needed one or two new faces ahead of the Derby game. I thought long and hard about changing the team but I decided not to do it. Freshness will be the key between now and the end of the season."I was always worried about this period because, with the heavy ground, you expect tiredness to creep in. These boys have given every ounce of effort. We looked far sharper and far livelier against Sheffield United."
