Forest fear for Davies

Nottingham Forest midfielder Arron Davies could be facing a spell on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday's pre-season friendly against Motherwell.

The Wales international, who only moved to the City Ground from Yeovil Town earlier this summer, will undergo an X-ray to determine the full extent of his injury.

Manager Colin Calderwood told Forest's official website after the goalless draw against the Steelmen: "Arron is a concern.

"The worst-case scenario is that he may have broken a bone but he's certainly in a great deal of pain and discomfort."
