Nottingham Forest's caretaker manager John Pemberton heaped praise on his side after they secured a 3-1 win at Norwich City to move out of the championship relegation zone.
A dismal 4-2 mauling by Doncaster Rovers on Boxing Day saw the end of Colin Calderwood's reign at the City Ground, with Pemberton stepping in for the time being.
He made several changes for the trip to Carrow Road and they paid off in style.
Pemberton said: "The players were disappointed about what happened on Boxing Day, but I didn't have to do a great deal.
"They did it themselves, they really wanted to do it today.
"We thoroughly deserved the win and the players dug in and fought when they had to.
"Obviously it's a massive boost for us being out of the bottom three."
