Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood was disappointed to see his side fail to take three points from their 2-2 draw at Bristol Rovers.
The League One promotion favourites have yet to register a victory this season in the league and Calderwood felt they should have done so against the Pirates, despite going two goals behind and having Grant Holt sent off.
He told the club's official website: "The opportunity was there to get all three points, but we didn't drive to get the victory in the second half the way we would have liked.
"It was an eventful game and I was pleased with the start. The players' response before half-time was excellent when we went two goals down.
"The second half was more bitty, but with Grant sent off a point might be a bonus. But we need a victory and should have had one."
