Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood remains convinced that his side can engineer an escape from the threat of relegation from the Championship.
Forest drew 0-0 with Blackpool at the City Ground at the weekend, leaving Calderwood's side four points adrift of safety.
However, the Scot still sees plenty of reasons for optimism for the coming months.
He told the Evening Post: "Sometimes you have to suffer times like this, but you always come out the stronger for it.
"There is a spirit there that you would not expect of a team in the bottom three. But that is because they have confidence in their ability and they wonder as much as we do why they have not won more games.
"Mentally we are getting tougher. The belief is so strong, the belief that we will get out of the bottom three.
"However, our position is what it is because of the mistakes we have made at either end of the pitch."
