Earnshaw record delights boss

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies has told striker Robert Earnshaw to enjoy the adulation after the Wales international scored the 150th goal of his career in Tuesday's 1-0 win against Sheffield United.

His goal ensured the Championship high-flyers got back to winning ways after their disappointing defeat at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.

Forest occupy third position in the Championship table and are in with a chance of grabbing automatic promotion this season.

Speaking to the club's official website, Davies said: "It's a tremendous record - and one that he should be rightly proud of.

"There's no reason why he shouldn't go on to score a lot more goals in his career. He's only 28 and, as a goalscorer, he's probably now running into the best years of his life."
