Nottingham Forest chairman Nigel Doughty expects Billy Davies to remain as manager.Glaswegian Davies has been linked with a return to his home city as a contender to replace Tony Mowbray as Celtic boss.Forest`s promotion dream ended on Tuesday night as they were beaten 6-4 on aggregate by Blackpool in the Coca-Cola Championship play-off semi-finals.Asked about his future following the 4-3 defeat at the City Ground, Davies said: "I've got some thinking to do and conversations to have."However, Doughty is confident the Scot will stay and continue with the challenge of building the club."We are committed to him, he has done a marvellous job. My impression is that there are a lot of noises sometimes, which you just have to ignore. You can't believe everything you read in the papers," said Doughty. "Billy is here for the long-term.
