Nottingham Forest expect to have both Junior Agogo and Sammy Clingan available for selection for Saturday's match against Cheltenham.
Forest boss Colin Calderwood expected to be without the key pair for the trip to Whaddon Road due to international commitments.
However, Agogo has been released to return to the City Ground after Ghana's friendly with Jamaica in London on Saturday was cancelled due to safety concerns.
Meanwhile, Clingan has been told he can delay joining up with the Northern Ireland squad ahead of their Euro 2008 qualifier against Sweden next Wednesday.
"It's good of Nigel Worthington to let me play for Forest before linking up with the squad," Clingan told the club's official website.
"We're on such a good run at Forest at the moment I really don't want to miss out on any games."
