Dobie blow rocks Forest

Nottingham Forest striker Scott Dobie faces three months out of action as he requires surgery on a hip problem.

The 27-year-old Scotland international has scored twice in six appearances for Forest this season, but has not featured since the 2-0 defeat at Barnsley just over a month ago.

Boss Gary Megson told the club's official website: "It's now been decided that Scott has to have surgery and it is as big a blow for the player as it for us.

"He's been frustrated lately at not being able to play but now that the injury has been fully diagnosed we can get it sorted and he can start his rehabilitation."

Meanwhile, West Brom goalkeeper Russell Hoult has extended his loan stay at the City Ground to a second month.
