Defensive duo on Forest list

Nottingham Forest have transfer-listed defenders Ian Breckin and Hamza Bencherif ahead of the reopening of the window in January.

Former skipper Breckin has made over 140 appearances for the club since arriving from Wigan Athletic.

However, he has slipped behind Wes Morgan and Kelvin Wilson in the pecking order this season and not featured in the last six games.

Meanwhile, Bencherif has been told he has no future at the City Ground by manager Colin Calderwood.

The Algeria Under-20 international has failed to make a single first-team appearance for the Championship club.
