Billy Davies insists he will not quit Nottingham Forest despite coming under fire from disgruntled fans.
Davies was not a universally popular appointment among fans when the former Preston North End and Derby County manager was handed the reins at the turn of the year.
Before Saturday's 1-0 win at Reading, Forest had lost five of their previous six games but, despite coming under fire, Davies has vowed to stand firm.
Asked if he has threatened to walk away from the City Ground, he said: "Absolute nonsense.
"There are one or two things we need to change, but I'm here for the long haul.
"I'm a public figure - I expect stick, I expect the fans to dislike me because I'm whatever. It's no surprise to me and it won't change my philosophy."
