Davies hoping for play-off success
Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies hopes that Saturday's trip to Blackpool in the Championship play-off semi-final first leg marks the the start of "a tremendous two weeks" for his side. The Scot, who led Derby to Championship play-off glory at Wembley in 2007, is preparing to take his third club in four years into the end-of-season showpiece, having also guided Blackpool`s rivals Preston to the play-offs previously. He said: "The play-offs are a lottery and, in my opinion, third place should get us up. But the rules are there from the start and we will go and do our best to finish the job."Hopefully it will be a tremendous two weeks for us. Hopefully there will be a massive celebration at the end of the second leg next week and everyone associated with the club will be running around celebrating a trip to Wembley."To get to Wembley and to get into the final is something that you want because it is so enjoyable. Then all the preparation that comes with that starts and it gives the whole club and the whole city a buzz."
