Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has hinted that he would be interested in bringing striker Marlon Harewood back to the City Ground.
Harewood, 29, has been little more than a fringe player at Aston Villa this season.
The striker made over 200 appearances for Forest before moving on to West Ham United in 2003 and Davies has admitted a player in Harewood's mould is high on his list of priorities.
"A Marlon Harewood-type striker would certainly help our cause, for sure," he admitted.
"Marlon's name has been in amongst many others. We're always making enquiries and speaking to agents and clubs."
Meanwhile, Davies has revealed that a groin injury suffered by Isaiah Osbourne is not too serious and the on-loan Villa midfielder will be back in a matter of weeks rather than months.
