Davies denies Tyson rumours

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has played down speculation linking striker Nathan Tyson with a move away from the City Ground this summer.

The 26-year-old, who has scored 38 goals in 136 appearances for Forest, had been linked with Derby County.

However, Davies told the Evening Post: "If somebody comes in and offers us big money for one of our players, we might have to look at something.

"But the idea is not to do too much to the current squad. We want to add to the squad, not reduce it.

"I am intending on trying to get things concluded very soon. We are in negotiations with several clubs about players."
