Colin Calderwood believes his Nottingham Forest side will benefit from his previous experiences when they take part in next month's League One play-offs.
A second successive top-six finish was confirmed when Walsall lost at home to Bristol Rovers in midweek and Calderwood has already started to plan for his fourth time in the play-offs.
He guided Northampton Town to two play-offs before steering Forest to last term's dramatic semi-final defeat to Yeovil Town.
"I'll use the experience I've had in the play-offs as a manager," said Calderwood. "This will be my fourth time in the play-offs and it might be time to do something different.
"We've spoken about it already and we might look at having a different routine, certainly different to what we had last time.
"It's not about any lessons learned, it's just about trying something different. If you asked me, hand on heart, did we do things right last time, I'd say yes. We were prepared.
"The boys like staying in their own bed and, with the schedule we had, having to travel to Yeovil, we had a night together the night before and then travelled down to Yeovil.
"But I can't do the same thing and end up getting beaten because I'd be cursing all summer. So we'll look at doing something different and see where it takes us."
